Description
The female duo A.MUSE creates interactive spectacles between art and design, technology and social entrepreneuship. By creating sensual, playful and inspiring experiences that connect people and make them happy, they develop extraordinary illusions for museums, galleries, marketing campaigns, festivals and showrooms. In times of digital change, they build bridges between the physical and digital worlds, between humans and machines – and use artistic methods to show how a merging and a convergence of both worlds can succeed in a playful way.
Background
Since our first project during our studies in Multimedia|Virtual Reality Design at Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle, our focus lies on the merging the physical with the digital world. In times of digitalization, we believe it’ very important to keep the tactile in mind. With our startup, we want to explore the possibilities of technology in a way that makes people happy – whether to experience learning content immersively, or to bring cultures closer, to make the childhood dream of flying come true, or to achieve a positive effect on the human psyche. Technology is meant to act more in the background, so that its interplay with poetic themes and images creates lasting impressions and magical moments. It’ s our motivation to create truly beautiful, sensual and interactive experiences that make people marvel and happy. To achieve that, we are offering design services and are producing our own inhouse projects with artistic and social impact.
From 2020 to 2022 Binh Minh Herbst was professor for Game Art & Design at the University of Fine Arts (HBK) in Essen.
Before founding
After graduating in 2016, we took different paths to gain professional experience. Christin worked for 3 years as a UI/UX designer at Outermedia in Berlin for clients in the fields of museums and education. Minh was self-employed as partner of prefrontal cortex working as art director/creative technologist for national and international clients, where she worked on developing holographic interfaces with the augmented reality glasses Meta 2 in Silicon Valley, among other projects.
